Résumé
L'A.T.M. est au centre d'un équilibre anatomique et fonctionnel qui peut être altéré par un dysfonctionnement des muscles oro-faciaux.
La fonction de déglutition joue un rôle prépondérant et lorsqu'elle reste immature, elle peut engendrer un déséquilibre disco-condylien à l'origine de luxations.
Abstract
TMJ is at the heart of an anatomical and functional equilibrium that can be modified by an orofacial muscular dysfunction.
The swallowing function plays a key role and when it remains immature, it can provoke a disco-condylar imbalance which can cause TMJ dislocations.
