Résumé
Après avoir fait le point sur l'intérêt actuellement porté à l'informatisation par la profession dentaire, l'auteur présente un bref rappel historique, situe l'ordinateur, et s'attache à montrer qu'à partir d'une rigueur d'analyse des exigences propres à la gestion d'un cabinet dentaire et en acceptant des changements d'habitudes, l'exercice de l'orthopédie dento-faciale peut bénéficier des facilités de gestion offertes par l'informatisation. Des conseils utiles accompagnent un commentaire sur l'application de l'informatique à certains des domaines concernés.
