L'auteur retrace l'histoire des forces extra-buccales en situant le début de leur utilisation en 1865 et en citant les orthodontistes du XIXe siècle qui ont contribué au progrès des appareils.
Abstract
Study of extra-oral appliances clinical use on an historical point of view. Story begins in 1865. Names of 19th century orthodontists who contributed to development and improvement of the devices are given.
