Résumé

Les auteurs décrivent les principales indications des différents systèmes d'interception orthopédique chez les enfants porteurs des séquelles des fentes labio-maxillo-palatines (FLMP) opérées, en mettant l'accent sur l'intérêt des tractions postéro-antérieures sur masque facial orthopédique de Delaire.

Quatre cas cliniques d'enfants opérés d'une fente maxillo-palatine, avec ou sans atteinte labiale, et traités par masque orthopédique, illustrent ce travail.

Abstract

This study describes the main aspects of the different systems of orthopaedic cleft palate treatment. Special emphasis will be placed on the use of posterior-anterior traction using Delaire's orthopaedic face mask. This work is illustrated by four clinical cases involving children with cleft palates with or without labial affectation, who have been treated using Delaire's orthopaedic face mask.
