Abstract
Although a great body of literature seems to prove that, generally speaking, orthodontics is not a cause of craniomandibular disorders, too many clinicians or authors believe the contrary. Unaware of the different studies undertaken to shed some light on the subject they contend that orthodontics can be damagable for the orthodontic patient. This paper reviews some of the scientific studies that denies any dogmatic orthodontic responsability.
