Résumé
La disjonction maxillaire n'est pas formellement contre-indiquée dans les syndromes d'excès vertical. Une croissance mandibulaire favorable compense les éventuels risques d'augmentation de la hauteur faciale inférieure comme l'illustre ce cas clinique.
Abstract
Rapid palatal expansion is not strictly contra-indicated for long face syndrom treatment. This case report shows that favorable mandibular growth could balance possible risks of open bite in such situation.
