Résumé
Le traitement des malocclusions de la classe II, division 1 évolue depuis le début du XIXe siècle. De nouveaux procédés ont été successivement proposés par Kingsley, Angle, Case, Rogers, Pullen, Grieve, Robin, Andresen et Haüpl, Tweed, Klohen, Ricketts, Herbst et Pancherz. C’est la somme des idées et des tentatives de ces auteurs qui fait notre connaissance d’aujourd’hui.
Abstract
Dentists began to treat Class II, division 1 malocclusions in the early years of the 19th century. Kingsley, Angle, Case, Rogers, Pullen, Grieve, Robin, Andresen and Haüpl, Tweed, Klohen, Ricketts, Herbst and Pancherz all, in their turn, proposed new therapeutic techniques. It is upon the summation and culmination of their ideas and their efforts that we base our understanding of how to treat this disorder today.
