Abstract
Stability in our results is the ultimate objective toward which all our clinical treatment efforts are directed. And, we are convinced, this stability depends on the oro-facial, lingual, and postural activity of the neuro-muscular complex.
By carefully observing, and evaluating our patients' breathing, speaking, and swallowing at the beginning and at the end of treatment, we can go a long way toward reducing the causes of relapse.
This means we should study their functional and dysfunctional oro-facial behavior carefully in order to formulate a precise and well-targeted re-educational plan.
