Résumé

Dans cet article, nous vous présentons, à travers trois cas cliniques, une nouvelle technique d’ancrage orthodontique.

Le procédé est inspiré d’un ancrage utilisé en alpinisme.

Grâce à un simple fil d’ostéosynthèse, inséré dans la branche montante mandibulaire, il est possible d’obtenir un recul de l’arcade et un redressement conséquent des axes incisifs.

Abstract

In this article, we are presenting a new mandibular anchorage solution through 3 clinical cases.

This method is based on a moutain climbing technic.

Thank to a simple osteosynthesis wire insert in the jaw bone, it’s, now, possible to obtain a backward mouvement of the mandibular arch and an important uprighting of the incisors.
